A last minute dog emergency forced us to postpone last week's Corsican Wine Tasting. A thousand apologies to those of you who tried to come. The hound is feeling much better now, so we will be holding the tasting this Thursday, December 6th from 5:30 to 7:30pm. There is a $9 tasting fee. Please do join us.

Ahh, Corsica! What a magical place. Mountains bursting right from the sea, hearty food and hearty people...and the wine. Oh the wondrous wine of Corsica. Grape varietals with names like Vermintinu, Sciccarellu and Niellucciu have a connection to France and to Italy, but much like its people the wines of Corsica are distinctly different.
